Our Origin and Road Ahead
BFI began during the pandemic with a tweet from our founder that sparked a powerful movement. What started as emergency relief work, providing oxygen, vaccination supplies, and critical medical support, evolved into a long-term mission. A core team of scientists, healthcare experts, and innovators came together with a shared belief that India needs systemic change in healthcare.
Today, BFI supports high-impact biomedical innovation, connects researchers, clinicians, and entrepreneurs, and fosters collaboration to solve pressing health challenges.
